There have been other's... some successful and others not so successful.

And, of course many years as a successful real estate investor, coach, mentor, private lender, marketer and consultant.

When I tell you that it's hard work, I'm speaking from experience.

Let me explain why it's so tough (and then, I'll show you how to SUPER-simplify things)...

the "Old Way" Is A Bad Idea

  1. Traditional businesses require too much work, time, money, and other resources setting up. One of the biggest reasons why people don't get their businesses going in the first place is because there is a lot of work that goes into the initial setup. When you factor in all of the administrative tasks, operational responsibilities, marketing and sales efforts... combined with the legal, educational, and financial tasks that need to be in place before a "traditional" business can begin to generate income... not to mention the skill sets necessary for any business to truly succeed today... technology, the internet, graphics, copywriting, SEO, direct mail, and those myriad of other things successful businesses must include to keep up in our rapidly changing world, it's just too time-consuming for the average person to ever get all of the puzzle pieces in place... especially alone and without guidance.

  2. Traditional businesses have built-in pressures to successfully operate. It is so easy to burn out running your own small business if done without systems and support especially. You think going in that you'll never run out of energy, passion, ideas... or income! As one of the most creative "serial entrepreneurs" you'll ever run across, let me tell you that I used to feel that way myself and faced the reality years later, after working harder and harder, more and more, later and later, that I had underestimated the challenges and overestimated my 'super-power' ability to cope with them. Almost everyone does. And, even if you are superhuman and can continue keeping up with your business by yourself for years and years, the demands of your business owning you instead of you owning your business, with constant effort and frustrating multi-tasking, requires discipline that most of us just don't possess. 

  3. Traditional real estate investing and small business models require pricey and complicated 'stuff' like; business plans, huge overhead expenses, large start up and operating capital reserves, spotless credit, established experience or 'strategic' (meaning your partner controls everything - including the profits...) partnerships, and usually, gulp... employees! Oh, and about a hundred hours a week of work... minimum... for years.

    Whew!  That makes me want to take pain-relievers and a prescription anti-depressant just reading it. 

    Face it... the only way any sane person would willingly WANT to get into that kind of business is if the profits were potentially in the "gazillians" and their greed-glands took control of their clear thinking abilities, or if the person selling the business... uhm... LIES about how much is really involved to succeed...

    Or, you are like I was... flat out "duh" because you don't know any better or simply like the thrill of being over-challenged, under-trained, unsupported, stressed, perpetually tired, work-a-holic addicted, deluded about the possibilities, cash-poor, credit burdened, blah, blah, blah, etc., etc., etc. 

    By running businesses the "old way" you have to manage everything, protect your existing business while trying to establish new business, keep up with your clients, vendors, contractors, employees, and customers... accounting, administrative, marketing, operations, legal and tax concerns, asset protection, estate planning, managing your existing properties, services, or stores, venture capitalists, lawyers and lawsuits, and at least two dozen other things.

    This all requires systems, money, skill, education, aptitude, technology, hard work... uh, more hard work, long hours, sacrifice, TIME, and usually other people to help you accomplish it all (i.e. employees).

    Ask me how I know?  I had been on that path personally for well over 3/4 of my more than twenty enreprenurial years and I intimately KNOW about these challenges.  Frankly, looking back I can see why some folks would rather just work in their nice cubicle or keep their familiar, paycheck every two weeks, J.O.B. (Just Over Broke) working for an S.O.B. - uhm... Sunny Optimistic Boss...

  4. Traditional investing and business models demand a large investment of time. You have a whole new set of skills to learn, new systems to establish, new programs, products, and services to understand, contracts to learn and prepare, customers to manage, properties to keep up with, evictions to process, technical problems to troubleshoot, tenant and property problems to fix, and a myriad of other tasks that usually get left out of the "salesletter" for a product or service trying to convince you to start a business.

    The truth is, a traditional business requires a large investment of time. Now, if this is the ONLY part of your business you'll have to deal with, you might pull it off. But, believe me, it will leave the average person with virtually no time to do those necessary things that you started a business for in the first place... like having a personal and family life! 

  5. Traditional real estate investing includes a continual battle to keep customers, opportunities, and clients coming in the door using worn out, costly, and ineffective methods... It can be depressing and frustrating trying to sort out the most valuable information - that which is needed NOW, from the volumes of unnecessary, unproductive, old and worn-out, information out there that will simply clog your book-shelves and empty your bank accounts. And it's probably going to get worse.

    You simply don't have the time or money to keep buying every new program that comes around or to consume the brain clogging volumes of information stuffed into pounds of books, CD's, DVD's, courses, seminars and manuals available. Especially when these programs really don't help you to IMPLEMENT or ESTABLISH proven, successful measurable, immediate, simple, income producing results.

    Factor in indifference, a lack of trust, poor results from past efforts, and a never ending amount of other enticing "better than what you have now" promises and offers overwhelming you every week and you'll be lucky to have any money left in your bank account, any faith left in your ability to start your own successful real estate investing business, any strength or desire to try again, or any belief that you can be a successful entrepreneur, left in you...  to me, this is very sad.

All it takes to actually "run" the technical side of your business is some basic equipment like a phone/fax, answering service (or machine), a computer and email account, and other simple business tools. 

    Yes, there are some other expenses involved in owning a business... for instance, I recommend Quickbooks or Quicken for your bookkeeping... and these are not free programs, but they (or programs like them) are necessary for ANY successful business... even cleaning toilets! (ask me how I know...:). 

    However, you will be able to do much of your business with the tools, software, programs and information that are included or recommended in your MAP.  Your are also not obligated to invest in my recommended programs or resources... they are just that; recommendations. The more advanced or expensive recommendations we try to hold off on until later, when you should have adequate income streams already generated from the program to pay for the next level of tools or systems. 

    How does that sound?  Only invest in other programs or lessons... with the money I've helped you to earn from your previous lessons.  Now, to me - that seems more than reasonable and I wish I had someone who had offered me the same opportunity years ago.

    In any event, I recommend only those tools that I use or have proven myself and that I have found will really help you to run your business or increase your profits. I also do my best to keep the program simple so that anyone can accomplish the lessons and understand each step along the way... beginning investor to the advanced and seasoned professional looking to bring your business into the 21st Century and learn some new technologies, strategies, techniques, tips, and tools.

  3. Your Magnetic Action Plan (MAP) does not require a massive amount of time to learn! Think about the benefits of this: which takes longer to accomplish ... 
  4. (a) Read 3-5 new chapters or books every week from that 10lb course you purchased for thousands of dollars, try and decipher all of the blah, blah, blah on your own and implement the "what to do" volumes of information... with no "how to do it" information included, etc., or...

    (b) Learn 1 new, simple, article/lesson weekly? With a MAP mentoring program, the only real investment of time you'll have each week is to read one simple article/lesson, play with the excercises if there are any, implement the short, simple "to-do" tasks that are be included with your lesson... and start to see results.  Hmmm, what could be better?
